🦋 I Never Imagined That His Whispers to Me Would One Day Travel the Globe. Hallelujah! 🤍

More than thirty-four years ago, in a quiet moment with the Lord, I asked Him something I had been carrying deep in my heart.

“Lord… why is my life so hard?”

In the stillness, He didn’t give me a long explanation.

He simply whispered,

“Your life is like a butterfly.” 🦋

I didn’t understand what He meant. I just believed Him. I tucked His words deep inside my heart.

Over the years, whenever life felt especially hard, I’d lift my arms like butterfly wings, look up toward Heaven, and flap them.

I’d smile and whisper, “Okay, Lord… the butterfly.” 🦋

It was my childlike way of saying,

“I still trust You.”

The years passed. The Lord continued to speak to my heart in many beautiful ways, but He never mentioned the butterfly again.

Then, in August of 2023…

After more than thirty years of silence about the butterfly…. He asked me one question:

“Do you think the butterfly could see outside the cocoon?”

The moment He asked it, something came alive inside me.

My heart began to race.

My spirit knew He was up to something.

Why now?

Why had He waited more than three decades to bring up the butterfly again?

Now I understood. The butterfly couldn’t see outside the cocoon.

She couldn’t see the flowers.

She couldn’t see the blue sky.

She couldn’t see where she was going.

She simply trusted the One who created her.

And now I realize….Neither could I.

For more than thirty years, God had been unfolding the meaning of that one whisper.

Every hard season.

Every prayer.

Every tear.

Every little step of faith.

He had never forgotten what He spoke.

Now that one gentle whisper has crossed oceans and reached homes all over the world. Not just my own country.

India, Canada, and Mexico continue to sell out soon after restocking, sometimes within hours. I’m amazed and in awe. Watching Gracie’s Flight of Faith return to your shelves again and again has left me speechless at God’s faithfulness.

The words He whispered to my heart all those years ago are now being read all over the world.

Every time I hear Gracie has found another home, I whisper,

“Thank You, Jesus.”

Only God could take one little whisper, spoken in a quiet moment over thirty years ago, and carry it into the hearts of children and adults around the world.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:

When God whispers something to your heart, hold on to it. You may not understand it today. You may not understand it for thirty years, but He is faithful.🙌

He always finishes what He begins.
